Seville is the birthplace of the legendary Don Juan, the city credited with the invention of tapas and the home of some of the finest Gothic-Mudéjar architecture in Spain. The walks that follow take you through some of the more interesting parts of this historic ciy. All walks are short, to allow time for their completion outside the hot summer hours between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm.

San Luis. This walk explores some of the rich architecture of convents and churches in this district, many of which are open to the public.

Santa Catalina. Take this one to two hour walk in the late afternoon and finish up enjoying a cold beer at Seville's best known cervezeria.

Santa Cruz. Stroll through the narrow ancient alleyways and covered passages of this former Jewish district, with its tranquil plazas, flower-filled balconies and friendly flamenco cafés and bars.


San Vicente. A two hour walk taking in elegant 18th and 19th century homes, Gothic-Mudéjar style towers, convents and churches, and the historically important Almeda de Hercules.
