[A] Villa Borghese. Originally owned by the Borghese family, this beautifully landscaped park was handed over to the public in 1903.
[B] Piazza del Popolo with an obelisk from the Sun Temple in Heliopolis (Egypt) .
[C] Piazza San Pietro with a colonnade by Bernini and an obelisk from Heliopolis (Egypt).
[D] Piazza Augusto Imperatore and home to a "bargain market" on the first Sunday of each month.
[E] Piazza di Spagna, the Fontana della Barcaccia, and an obelisk at the top of the Spanish Steps from Horti Sallustiani.

[I] Piazza Navona built using the same dimensions and on the same site as Stadium of Domitian, a first century stadium in which Romans watched athletes perform. The Fontana dei Fiumi by Bernini is topped by an obelisk from the Temple of Isis.
[J] Piazza della Rotonda, located in front of the Pantheon, locals refer to it as La Piazza del Pantheon. The fountain is topped by an obelisk from the Temple of Isis in Egypt.
[K] Piazza Montecitorio, outside the Palazzo Montecitorio, home of the Italian Parliament. The obelisk was constructed for the pharaoh Psammeticus II in Heliopolis.
[L] Piazza Colonna, considered by Romans to be the very centre of the city, and the elegant Fontana della Piazza by Giacomo della Porta.
[M] Trevi Fountain. A traditional legend holds that if visitors throw a coin into the fountain, they are ensured a return to Rome.
[N] Piazza del Quirinale complete with Fontana Dioscuri and a replica of an Egyptian obelisk. The piazza is in front of the Palazzo del Quirinale.
[O] Piazza Farnese, a quiet piazza just a short walk from Piazza Navonna.
[P] Piazza Venezia takes its name from Palazzo Venezia which lies on the western side of the piazza and is overlooked by the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II.
[Q] Piazza del Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo, is on top of the smallest, but perhaps most famous, of the Seven Hills of Rome.
[R] Piazza di San Bartolomeo on Isola Tiberina (Tiber Island).
[S] Piazza della Bocca della Verita and the centre of the old Forum Boarium.
[T] Piazza di San Giovanni in Laterano with an Egyptian obelisk from the Temple of Amon in Karnak. It's the highest obelisk in Rome.
